October. Monthly blog. Here we go. So, what happened in October? Well, there was Halloween, my brother's birthday, the iPhone 7 was judged, I'm on my month break from sports, and the Overwatch Tournament happened.
Let's talk about this Overwatch tournament first. If you don't know what Overwatch is, Google it, because I'm not explaining it. Firstly, I went for team Fnatic this year. They got pretty far, but went down against EnVyUs in the American Group B Finals. It was a great series, and I totally didn't stay up until midnight watching it. But, I suppose there are always the weekly matches to keep me entertained. Next up, general school things! Yay! Many tests, schoolwork, and the Fishing Field Trip, yes, that was fun! I caught literally nothing and cleverly avoided touching any fish. Mwahaha. Yes, I'm a germaphobe, live with it or be hunted down by my invisible minions. Finally, the weirdest "holiday" ever, Halloween! Yay! Free candy! Seriously, people, Halloween is a creepy and really strange "holiday". You go up to houses knocking on the doors of strangers while wearing a costume that realistically transforms you into the image of a popular social figure (literally, I saw about six Donald Trumps this year), and people answer the door and give you free candy for interrupting their evening. Why, I don't know, but you get free candy, so I try not to go yelling this explanation to strangers whenever I see them. So yeah, that was October. I leave you with my final comment about this month. "Getting nearer to Christmas."
